1955-2022
Peter Steeves, of
Turtle Creek, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, November
28, 2022. Born in Shenstone, he was raised by his late parents Grace
and Ernest Steeves.
Peter worked for Hub
Meat Packers Ltd. for many years before his retirement. A large part
of his life was his involvement with horses, he could often be found
at horse shows, horse pulls, running horse drawn sleigh rides and ran
a small 4-H Club from his home. Aside from his love for his wife and
family, his home also made room for the foster children that he and
Ann took in over 22 years.
Peter will be
remembered and missed by his loving wife of 44 years Ann Steeves,
daughter Jocelyn Steeves, sons: Corey (Sammy Joe), Kyle (Charmaine),
Tony (Paula) and his grandchildren Lyam, Ophelia-Grace, Clay,
Gracie-Rae and Wyatt. He will also be remembered by his many brothers,
sisters, cousins, nieces, and nephews, who were a big part of his
life.
Aside from his
parents, Peter was predeceased by his brother Dale.
In keeping with his
wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held in his memory at a later
date. Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and
Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007). In lieu of
flowers, donations in Peter’s memory may be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society.
