Passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Peter McVey of Alexandria; age 70 years. Cherished father of Tanya McVey of Finch and Peter Barger (Jess) of Lake Cowichan, B.C.. Survived by the mother of his children, Debbi Barger and by one brother; Thomas McVey (Debbie) of Saskatchewan. Peter will be greatly missed by his grand children; Anthony (Rebecca), Robert, Rejean and Helena, and by his great-grand children; Neal, Luke and Alex. Peter is predeceased by his wife Trudy McVey and by his parents Thomas and Margaret McVey (McKenna). A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South Alexandria (613-525-2772).
