Peter Charles Cormier
1982-2022
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Peter
Cormier on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at The Moncton Hospital.
Born in Calgary he was the son of Donna (Fraser) Lerette and
step-father Larry Lerette.
Peter moved to Calgary at the age of 24 where he was employed
as a commercial roofer after having achieved his Red Seal.
Loving the outdoors he spent time snowboarding, fishing, camping and
playing golf. He was also an avid football fan and loved
gaming on-line.
He will be dearly missed by his mother Donna (Fraser)
Lerette; step-father Larry Lerette “Pops”; Charles
Cormier and all the Cormier family; his best friend Jamie Nachum;
aunts and uncles Wayne and Carol Fraser, Lela Phillips, Catherine
(Kay) Fraser, Linda Geggie and especially Becky Estabrooks who was
like his big “sissa”, and he was her little
“brudder”, Matthew Estabrooks and their son Owen, Andrew
Fraser and Vanessa Phillips, Ben (Krista) Geggie.
Peter’s family will be receiving friends and
relatives on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at St.
John the Baptist Anglican Church, 28 Woolridge Street,
Riverview. A service to celebrate his life will take place
at the church on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00 am. Masks
are encouraged for both events. His interment will take place at the
Brown’s Yard Cemetery at a later date. His
arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and
Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007).
