It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of
Pearl Adshade-Cox, age 93, of River
Philip. Pearl passed away at home, peacefully, with family by her
side, on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
Born in Mount Pleasant, NS, she was a daughter of the late
Leonard and Ruby (Mills) Blair.
Pearl was a busy lady, made obvious by the large family
listed, both surviving and predeceased. She had a fantastic wit and a
sharp mind until the end. Pearl worked alongside her friends and
neighbours for years as a member of the River Philip UCW. Pearl spent
a great deal of time knitting, quilting and reading. Pearl also had a
strong opinion that only boring people get bored. Please go do
something enjoyable in her memory.
She will be dearly missed by her children Bob (Margaret)
Adshade, Cheryl (David) Carruthers, Melinda (Doug) McFadden, Mae
Leblanc, Rebecca (George) Adshade Hannigan, Charles Holloran, Denise
Holloran; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Don
Blair and Marie Kidd.
She was predeceased by her first husband George Adshade, her
second husband Charlie Cox; son Leon Adshade; 3 daughters in infancy;
sister Nita and brothers Doug, Garnet, Clair and Leon.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of
