Obituary of Paul Stencek
Paul passed away peacefully, on Friday December 23, 2022. He is survived by his sister Marta Rolederova, nephews Ondrej Roleder and Adam Roleder and his brother-in-law, Tomas Roleder, all of the Czech Republic. Also survived by Jana Cisar, Daniela Cisar and Machaela Hajek, as well as his special friend Dana Sotornik. He will be deeply missed by all of his family, along with numerous friends and business associates. He is predeceased by his parents, Oldrich Stencek and Blazena Stencekova and his daughter, Patricia Cisar.
Paul Stencek was born on May 23, 1960, in the town of Opava, Czech Republic. In 1984, he left the Czech Republic and arrived in Canada later that year. Typical of many immigrants to Canada, Paul saw in Canada an opportunity to better himself through hard work and determination. Initially Paul worked for an electrician, and he later obtained his electrician’s license. Finally in 1994 he established his own home construction company, Paul Stencek Contracting Inc.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. s., Waterloo on Wednesday January 4, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel beginning at 1:30 p.m. January 4, 2023.
