Obituary of Paul Peter Kuczma
KUCZMA, Paul – It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Paul Kuczma on October 17th, 2022. Paul peacefully passed in his home, surrounded by his family. Devoted husband of Lucy Kuczma (Banasik). Loving father of Adam and Fiorella (Figari), Alex and Terra (Thorpe). Cherished Dziadzi of Abigail, Cohen and Pierce. Cherished son of the late Eliasz and Katharine Kuczma. Dear brother of Ed and Grace (Bartman). Predeceased by his sister Marie Hrycko and surviving husband John. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. Paul was born in Hamilton, Ontario on July 1, 1952. He was President of the Oakville PCAY and a member of the Canadian Polish Society of St. Catharines. Paul loved gardening, playing chess, coaching soccer, playing euchre, collecting coins, attending and dancing at polka dances and festivals in Canada and the United States. Being a repurposer, Paul also enjoyed bargain hunting at garage and estate sales. Paul will always be loved and will be missed by everyone he touched. Arrangements have been made at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 20 from 1:30p.m.- 4p.m and 6p.m.-8:30p.m. Vigil Prayers to be held at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 5 Oblate St., St. Catharines, on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11a.m. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre in St. Catharines or Canadian Neuro Endocrine Tumor Society (CNETS). May Paul rest in peace.
