Obituary of Paul Leroy Nelson
Paul passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Regina, SK. He was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Mabel Nelson; brother Eric Nelson; brothers-in-law Ross Richard and Abe McLeod; and father-in-law Alfred Maurer. Paul’s memory will be cherished by his devoted and loving wife, Sharon; children Linette (Kevin) Vatamaniuck, Daniel (Jade) Nelson and Janice (Devin) Tide; precious grandchildren Landon, Natasha, Nathan, and Quinn; siblings Don (Ruth) Nelson, Vern (Jan) Nelson and Darlene Nelson; mother-in-law Elsie Maurer; as well as numerous other family members and close friends.
Paul had many hobbies and joys in life that made him happy. The biggest joys were his family, friends and motorcycles. Paul loved to spend time hunting, reading, being on his computer, riding his motorcycles, and spending time in the garage. He was a kind and gentle soul who was greatly loved and will be missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 4th Avenue North, Regina, SK. Due to the church restrictions, masks will be mandatory and no luncheon will take place. A time of fellowship will be held after the service. Paul will be laid to rest in Truax, SK at a later date.
