CARD OF THANKS
To those of you who have reached out to the Russell and Doucette families on the passing of our dearly beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother Pauline, we thank you. Your kindness and support in our time of grief is greatly appreciated. It is comforting to know Pauline was loved and held in such high esteem by so many.
Brother Gus and sister -in- law Sylvia: your collaboration with her husband Don in caring for Pauline knew no bounds. Words cannot express the gratitude felt for the care and love you showered on Pauline during the past seven years, especially in her last days. Travelling twenty four or so miles, daily and then; up to three times weekly, often in less than ideal conditions, is evidence of the loving bond you shared. You ensured Pauline had all comforts and necessities of life. Sylvia; you lent a feminine touch in providing and shopping for clothes, special toiletries and other miscellaneous items. Your love and caring for Pauline did not end there, you even made/baked the foods and treats she enjoyed the most.
I have a firm belief all members of the Doucette and Russell families, living away from ‘home,’ felt a measure of reassurance knowing Pauline was cared for by three very loving persons, Don, Sylvia and Gus.Together you made an amazing team, you were flawless in your support for Pauline.
Last but not least, a huge thank you to the staff of the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centrer. The glowing reports received from family members who witnessed, first hand, the outstanding, warm and loving care given to Pauline speak highly of the services accorded those entrusted to your care.
With love and respect
Gabriel Doucette
