Obituary
We regretfully announce the passing of Paulette Blais-Danis, age 62 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on January 27th, 2022. Paulette was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully. Born in North Bay on July 23, 1959, by her loving parents Leo Blais and her predeceased mother Laurianne Blais.
Paulette was one of the strongest, most courageous, and kindest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her.
In 2001, she met Jilles Danis and the two were inseparable from that point on. Paulette & Jilles were married for over 17 years and were loving parents to Denis Gauthier (Shannon Dashney Gauthier). Paulette was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.
Lovingly remembered by her three grandchildren Tattyiannah Dashney, Chelsea Gunner, Acadia Gauthier and three step grand children. Her siblings Anita Blais (Roger Cronier), Colette Grenier (Emile Grenier), Vivianne Ouellette (Rick Ouellette), Robert Blais (Arlene Diao) and Jerry Blais (Debbie Levesque). Her two sisters in law Lise Danis (Marc) and Sue Clarida (Wayne). As well as her 35 nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held in late spring to honour her memory. Online condolences may be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
