POVEY: Paula Kathleen (nee Forler) – It is with deep sadness and much love that we mourn the peaceful passing of Paula Kathleen Povey in her 79th year.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Robert Povey, children Christopher (Michelle), Stephanie (Paul) Sostar, Julianne (Amedeo) Rubino: by her grandchildren Kyle, Kaileigh, Colin, Aaron, Caitlin, Abby, Chiara, Matteo, great grandchildren Kaydenz and Deaglan, and special granddaughter Olivia. She also leaves behind her brothers George (Shirley), Alvin (Marilyn), Gerald (Judy), Tim (Sue), sisters Margie, Connie, brothers in law, Keith, Bill (Mary), many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Alvin & Esther Forler, sisters Patricia Kropf, Gertrude Forler, Martha Wagner, Shirley Lorentz, Helene Forler and brother Claude Forler.
Paula had such an incredibly vibrant personality and a powerful love of life. If she didn’t know your name she was sure to learn it quickly as she wanted everyone to feel welcome. Her greatest treasures were her grandchildren.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Community Christian Reformed Church, 1275 Bleams Rd. Kitchener on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Memorial Service will be conducted in the Community Christian Reformed Church on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11:00am. Reception to follow in the church hall.
If desired, in lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the March of Dimes Canada/Stroke Recovery Canada or Grand River Hospital (Freeport Campus). Donations would be sincerely appreciated. Personal condolences can be posted at www.markjutzifuneralhomes.ca
