Paula Elaine Mitchell
1956-2022
The passing of Paula Elaine Mitchell of Utopia NB occurred at
the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on January 29, 2022.
Born in Saint John NB on April 13, 1956, she was a daughter of the
late Ralston “Bud” and Anita (Lambert) Mitchell. A loving
mother, grandmother and sister, Paula is survived by her two sons:
Maxwell Lord of Utopia NB and Nicholas Mitchell; two grandsons; her
siblings: Betty (John) Daigle of Saskatchewan, Colin (Brenda) Mitchell
of Grand Bay NB and Thelma Mitchell of Oromocto NB; several nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Prior to retirement Paula worked in the home care industry
and loved helping those she provided care to. She enjoyed venturing
outside for walks and tending to the garden and had a strong love for
animals, especially her cat. Paula was a loving and caring soul who
loved to be in the company of children and her family and she will be
sadly missed by them greatly.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home
(755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. There will be no visiting
or funeral service. In Paula’s memory, donations to the NB Heart
& Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the
family.
