SAMPSON, William Paul… Passed away peace at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Shirley Partridge and the late Leona Sampson. Remembered by his children Barbara Jean (John) Hendy, Ron (Nicole) Sampson, and Shirley’s children and their families. Proud grandfather of Ashley Hendy, Joshua, Jordan and William Sampson. Cherished son of the late Murney & Nettie Sampson. Loving brother of Joan (late Marvin) Cochrane, Patsy (Ron) Rodgers, Judy (Paul) Woodcock, Susan (Al) McDougal and Sam (Cathy) Sampson. Predeceased by his siblings Fred (surviving Juanita), Gladys (Don) Woodcock, Faith (surviving Art) Hambleton and Chris (surviving Johnie). Paul will be fondly remembered by the Skinkle family, many nieces, nephews and his dear friends at Island Park. Paul’s family wish to thank all the doctors and nurses at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Campbellford Memorial Hospital and all the kind staff at Island Park for their excellent care.
Keeping with Paul’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements are in process with WEAVER Life Centre – Campbellford, 77 Second Street. A Graveside Service will take place at Warkworth Cemetery, County Rd. 29 in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s memory may be made to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital, Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of choice.
