Paul Merrill Robinson 1940 2022

There will be a celebration of life for Paul Merrill Robinson
at Cherryfield Baptist Church, McLaughlin Rd. on Monday, September 5,
2022 at 2:00pm
Paul was born in Sunny Brae the son of the late Orland and
Beatrice (Hill) Robinson. He grew up in Lewisville with a short time
in Calhouns and then back to Lewisville. Paul left home when he got
married and went to work with CN, living in QC, NL and NS until his
retirement. He loved sports, having won metals and ribbons in track
and field in high school. He was on the scouts list for one of the
major ball teams. He also played hockey and as the body got older he
took up bowling and continued up until six years ago when he moved
back to Stephenville, NL where there were no bowling alleys. He loved
playing cards and winning.
He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories: his wife,
Joan (Companion) Robinson; children: Sherry (Robert) LeBlanc, Paul
Robinson, Joanne Robinson, Sharon (James) Fisher, Geoffrey (Lisa)
Robinson, and Jody Robinson; stepchildren: Vivian (Les) McCreight and
Keith (Sheri) Campbell; and siblings: Doreen (late Robert) Penney,
Dave (Jean) Robinson, Cathy Robinson, and Brian (Ellie) Robinson; as
well as a large circle of grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended
family, and friends.
Paul was predeceased by: father, Orland Robinson, mother,
Beatrice Hill, and brothers: Jimmy, Gary, and Clark.
He was a member of the Cherryfield Baptist Church, Moncton
NB.
Following his wishes cremation has taken
place.
