Age 50 of Porters Lake passed away suddenly March
13, 2022 in QEII Health Sciences Halifax Infirmary

Born in St.
Johns, NL, he was a son of Dugald and Florence “Joan”
MacWilliams.
Paul grew
up in Wabush, NL, where he loved spending time outside riding
dirtbikes, skiing and playing hockey. He loved his summers spent on
the family farm in Belle River, PEI, where he would help pick tobacco
and bale hay.
After he
graduated high school, he attended St Mary’s University in
Halifax, where he proudly played for the Huskies hockey team and
received a degree in Urban Planning. He worked for many years in the
banking industry and recently with Parkland
(Ultramar)
His most
cherished role was being Hannah “Bean’s” father,
as well as his stepchildren Jamie, Brendan and Matthew. Also survived
by parents Joan and Dugald in Montague, PEI; brother, Scott (Suzanne);
sisters, Pam and Patricia; nieces; nephews,; great nephews; many
cousins and extended family.
He was predeceased by his sister
Jo-Anne.
