Paul L. Sellers – age 79 of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away at Heritage Assisted Living on Friday, July 8,2022. He was a devoted deacon of Pratt’s Chapel Baptist Church. He retired after 44 years from Tennessee Armature Electric Company. He spent many summers coaching girls’ softball at Holston Chilhowee Recreation field and many remember him as coach. His past times included raising cattle, farming and teaching Sunday School.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Brenda F. Sellers; infant daughter, Kimberly; son-in-law, Chris; parents; and several siblings.
He is survived by daughters, Lisa Norman, Rhonda Luttrell (Doug) and Kristie Ramsey (Joey); grandchildren, Hannah Odend’hal (Fortune), Eli Norman (Katie), Emma Cottle (Reid), Carter Norman, Cade Ramsey and Jacob Ramsey; and great-grandchildren, Lennox Odend’hal, Nico Munafo, Luca Munafo and Wyatt Norman.
The family will receive friends at Bridges Funeral Home Sunday, July 10, 2022, from 4:00-6:00 PM followed by the funeral service at 6:00 PM with Rev. Bob Zavattieri, Rev. Stanley Carpenter, and Pastor Tim Wallace. Family and friends will meet 1:45 PM on Monday at Caledonia Cemetery for a 2:00 PM interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pratt’s Chapel Baptist Church, 622 Pratts Chapel Lane, Knoxville, TN 37924.
