Obituary of Patrick Day
Peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Friday, June 3,2022 Patrick Day of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 86. Predeceased by his parents Albert Day and Rita “Nettie” St Jean. Beloved husband of the late Liliane Lalande. Dearly loved grandfather of Tanya (Claude Brière), Vicky and Melissa. Cherished great grandfather of Alexandre, Austin and Loïk. Dearly loved brother of Diane Matthias – Duval (Tom). Predeceased by his brothers William and Marcel. Dear brother-in-law of Sandra Lalande. Fond uncle of France Perreault.
Patrick was well known by everyone in town and could talk your ear off about his truck driving days. He had many early morning coffee buddies that he was fond of Aurèle, Dean and Wayne. He was also very fond of Ian McRae and had a lot of stories to tell about their days working together at Ivaco. A special thank you to Jacques Lalande from Dépanneur Lalande for always being there for Pat.
At Patrick’s request a Private Service will be held.
