Born in Chicago Illinois on August 11, 1948 and passed peacefully on March 8, 2022 in Leamington with her family nearby. Beloved wife of John for 53 years, wonderful mother to Adam and Jean (wife, Jessica Walter), and grandmother to Eva and Kai. Forever remembered by her brother, David, many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Howard and May Bruah (nee Clearly) and sister Jean Simon. Pat succumbed to a decade-long battle with early onset dementia and spent the last six and a half years under the wonderful, dedicated care of Franklin Gardens Long Term Care Home with her husband by her side. She dedicated her career to helping individuals with intellectual disabilities, most recently with Community Living. She was the most accepting, caring, and gentle mother, wife, and friend and will be deeply missed. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. Funeral Service to commence at 7 p.m. Reservations are recommended for visitation and funeral service. Please book an appointment at www.reidfuneralhome.ca. Private family interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens. Everyone must wear a mask. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to Community Living Es County, or a Charity of Choice. Friends may share memories and make donations at www.reidfuneralhome.ca
