Obituary of Patricia Ann Gemmell
Patricia passed peacefully at QHC-Belleville General Hospital, on Monday, January 24th, 2022, in her 73rd year. Daughter of the late Ronald and Luella Courneya. Beloved wife of 52 years to the late John “Jack” Gemmell. Dear sister of Ron (Deanna) Courneyea of Port Elgin, Cecil “Cec” (Mary) Courneyea of Belleville, Bradley (Lorna) Courneyea, of Ameliasburg and Brenda (Alex) Leitch of Belleville. Patricia will be missed by her brother-in-law Bill (Kristine) Gemmell of Burlington as well as by her nieces, nephews and many friends. She is predeceased by her sister Laurie Spratt.
A Memorial Service will be held at Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 12:00 noon.
Those wishing to attend the visitation and/or service are asked to preregister by emailing rsvp@steelefuneralhome.ca or by calling 613-968-2273 between 9 am and 5 pm.
Following the service, a private family inurnment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery. If desired, Memorial Donations to Hospice Quinte or Gideon Bibles would be appreciated by the family.
