Patricia Tutty
1940-2022
Patricia Belle Tutty, age 81, of the Glen Haven
Manor, formerly of Sinclair’s Island and Trenton, passed
away Thursday, August 18, 2022, in the Manor. Born in New Glasgow, she
was a daughter of the late Arthur and Marguerite
“Peg” (Sinclair) Cameron. After graduating from
Trenton High School, she attended the Nova Scotia Institute of
Technology in Halifax and then began her career as a Laboratory
Technologist at the Aberdeen Hospital, from where she retired more
than 25 years later. While she rebounded quickly from two bouts with
breast cancer and a hip replacement, the after-effects of a stroke
several years ago brought challenges that would not be overcome. She
is survived by sons: David (Brenda), New Glasgow; Allan,
Sinclair’s Island; grandchildren: Abigail and Steven, New
Glasgow; brothers-in-law: Reginald (Catherine) Tutty, Pictou Landing;
Robert (Katherine) Tutty, Kings Head; David (Denise) Horton,
Lawrencetown; Graham Frampton, Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, John Vincent Wayne
Tutty; sister, Virginia “Ginny” Cameron Horton;
sister-in-law, Catherine Frampton. A family graveside service will
take place in Church Brook Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be
made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New
Glasgow.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Patricia Tutty 19402022..
