It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Patricia, on November 14, 2022 at the age of 67 after a courageous battle.
She is now reunited with her daughter Christina (1986). She leaves behind her children Michael Rose, Steven (Stephanie) Hamza, and Paul Rose. Dear sister of Phyllis (late Joe) Simon, Marjorie (late Robbie) King, Conrad Rose, Averil (Brian) Murray, and April (Mike) Rifici. She will also be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, especially her best friends, “the Golden Girls”, Daphne Sleem, Denise Melanson and Bev Stewart as well as her fur baby Freya. Pat will be sorely missed by her work family at M.D. Optical where she spent the last 25 years working for Dr. Robin Deans.
She will be remembered for her bright smile, infectious laugh and delicious cooking. Pat loved to dance and sing and could liven up any party. Her boys were her world.
As per Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at Families First Funeral Home in South Windsor on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. A memorial mass will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Church.
