Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia “Pat” Barty (nee Smith) at home with her loving husband Brian Moyes by her side on Friday December 31 2021, at the age of 74. Beloved mother of Donna Kempling (Andy McNicol) and Elizabeth Kempling (Manolis Kypriotis), stepmother to Colleen Gignac (Peter), Sherri McNeil (Ted), honorary gramma to Mason, Hunter, Emma, Lilyan, Rudy and Bowen. Predeceased by her older brother Paul Smith.
During her life, Pat was a dedicated nurse, a loving mother, was exceptionally skilled with the knitting needles and a crochet hook, an excellent bridge partner, best butter tart baker and a cherished wife. She will be missed by so many.
In keeping with Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at a later date due to covid restrictions.
