Patricia Mae Smith nee Lynch December 29 1927 – March 23 2022

Born in Montreal, Quebec. Passed away peacefully in Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, BC. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Neville (2015). Patricia is survived by her children Desmond (Nataliya); Owen (Tin Tin); Pamela (Jennifer) and Neil (Jacqueline); grandchildren Andrew, Scott, Alexis, Blair, Svyatoslav, Taylor, Natalie, Spencer and Craig.
Patricia was of Ottawa Valley Irish and Scottish heritage. She met her husband when they worked at Molson Canadian brewery in Montreal, Quebec. After marriage she was a stay-at-home mom until the nest emptied. She then worked as a travel agent for 9 years and traveled the world with her husband.
The family would like to thank Thornebridge Gardens for her wonderful 7 years there. Special thanks to Michelle, Matt, JV, all the caring staff and her great friend Margaret. Also, special thanks to RCH nurses Corrina and Joan for their extra care and kindness on her last day.
A viewing at Kearney Columbia-Bowell Chapel (219 6th Street, New Westminster, BC) will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 5pm – 7pm.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (330 Royal Avenue, New Westminster, BC) on Wednesday April 6, 2022 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at 11:30 am at Fraser Cemetery.
