Patricia Jones-Alston 19462022

Patricia Jones-Alston
1946-2022
It is with deep sadness that the siblings of
Patricia Gail Jones-Alston, 75, must advise of her passing on January
7, 2022, after a brief illness.
Born in Steeves Mountain, Pat was the first of the
seven Jones children to leave this earth.
Pat loved a good game of cards, dice, yahtzee,
etc. and she spent hours and hours (often in a single day) doing this
with family.
Pat worked in Toronto for many years but, like
Maritimers often do, she returned to her native NB.
She is predeceased by her husband, Greig Alston,
and her parents, Everett and Vera (Ritchie) Jones.
Pat is survived by her siblings, Vera (Charlie)
Ross of Fredericton, Wayne (Mary Anne) Jones of Victoria, BC, John
(Lynda) Jones of Moncton, Gary (Léa) Jones of Boundary
Creek, Debbie (Lorne) Colborne of Salisbury, and Derek (Joyce) Jones
of West Gilford, ON, several nieces and nephews, as well as great
nieces and nephews.
As per Pat’s wishes, there will be no formal
funeral service. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral
Home (372-4800). Interment at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later
date.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the
Oncology wing of the Moncton Hospital for their kindness and
compassion.
If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian
Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
