Patricia’s Obituary
Patricia Charlene “Fisha” Bowden, 61, Priestville, passed away suddenly, after a short period of illness on Friday, December 31, 2021.
Fisha’s kindness and friendly spirit were a welcome asset to who she was as a person, having a kind word and uplifting salutation for all she encountered. Her zest for life, and “being the one you could count on when there was no one else” will be memories that anyone who knew her will always hold dear. She was a sister, an aunt, a caregiver, and a friend. Fisha worked for many years at Zellers in the Aberdeen Mall, where she rose to Manager, Women’s Wear Department, during and following her time at East Pictou Rural High School.
Fisha is survived by siblings, Derwin (Peggy); Billy (Sally); Roxanne (Charles); Jody; Tom (Angela); Dana (Andre); Susan; Darrell (Dane) and Jason; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; long-time friends, Darlene Moore, and Linda Bezanson.
Fisha was predeceased by her mother and father, Sylvia “Sis” and William “Sammy” Bowden; sister, Debbie Bowden-Johnson; uncle, Thomas Dorrington; maternal grandmother, Hilda (Jewell) Dorrington; paternal grandparents, William “Sam” and Mary Etta (Jordan) Bowden; sister-in-law, Mary Jo; brother-in-law, James.
A private family service will take place.
