Patricia Brown 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
Patricia Brown on February 6, 2022 at the age of
81. Mom was the daughter of the late Russell and
May (Milton) Fullerton.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and wife to her
greatest love, Allison. Her family was everything to her…
two sons, 6 grandchildren, brothers and sisters, her in-laws, nieces
and nephews and all their children were like gold to
her. She recalled everyone’s names and
birthdays. Near or far she called and celebrated
everyone on their birthday and cherished everyone for their
accomplishments.
Her passing was sudden and
unexpected therefore she lived her final days just as she
wanted… at home, living her familiar and content life, and
more importantly, not putting things off. Working
on a quilt, organizing fabric, dusting her numerous Avon trophies,
bible study and online mass, supper with her niece, almost daily calls
with her sons, and still found time to email and chat with her
grandkids to share her wisdom. We can all learn
from that.
Not only will
she be sorrowfully missed by family, she had countless neighbours and
friends that she relied on for friendship and
council. She was a dedicated and faithful member of
Cherryfield Baptist Church where she was involved in various
capacities over the years. That community brought
her much solace and kinship. She was also very courageous after
Allison’s passing 9 years ago… she joined a
quilting guild, a bowling group, bible study and even an online
exercise group.
Although
she never made it to Hawaii, she loved to travel, mostly up the
highway. She would drive to Fredericton and
regularly fly to Ottawa. She would jump at any
chance to fill an empty car seat. Her answer was
always ‘yes’ when the question was regarding a
road trip.
We know this news is a shock to
everyone, but please find peace in that she is with Dad once again.
Please say a prayer for her, think of her fondly, and on your next
birthday when you feel something is missing, remember, “Oh yeah,
it’s the call from Pat.”
Pat
will be sadly missed by her sons, Ken (Chantal) and Dale (Lori);
grandchildren, Alex, Nathan, Nick, Harrison, Lauren and Griffin;
brother, Terry Fullerton (Betty); as well as several nieces, nephews
and extended family members and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Allison Brown; and siblings, Jean, Gerald, Greta, Freda, Millie,
Audrey, Carol and Gerard.
After a gathering
in Ottawa with Ken and Dale’s families, a Celebration of
Pat’s life will take place in the Spring of 2022.
