Bruce lived life to the fullest and was often seen doing what he loved; driving around the harbour having a coffee, out fishing in his boat, or snowmobiling into the Cat Claw. Family was everything to him and he was always there to offer comfort, encouragement and love.
To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
Funeral to take place from St. Mary the Virgin church in St. Anthony, the time and date to be announced.
Inurnment to follow at a later date. No flowers by request.
Donations may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice.
And to honour one of the greatest men, at least for us his family, raise a glass at 4pm any day you choose, because for him that was Forty Creek time, or whatever Scotch/Whiskey was in the cupboard.
There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton.

He was much joy. He was a fantastic teacher while he was in Bonne Bay. I visited Bruce 5 years ago at his home and a good visit we had. So sorry for your lost. May you put your hands into the hands of God at this very difficult time. Let him carry you. Blessings
