Pat Kelly May 30 2022

KELLY, Patrick “Pat” Walter
January 24, 1945 – May 30, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Patrick Walter Kelly on May 30, 2022 in his 77th year. Pat is survived by his son Shanon Kelly of Alberta and grandson Joel Kelly of Ottawa, his sisters Noreen Galligan (Mike) and Jean Bimm (Ron). Pat was predeceased by his loving wife Ethel (Rose) and his brother Jim (Dianne).
Pat was born in Pembroke, Ontario and was educated at St. James Catholic School in Eganville. He later joined the Canadian Armed Forces and spent many years travelling the world. One of his fondest memories were the years he was with the Royal Canadian Airborne. After he retired, he went to work for real estate and also opened a small engine repair shop. Pat loved the North where he spent time exercising another love of hunting and fishing. Reading was a passion, especially anything on history. He will be dearly missed by his brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 10:00-10:30am, followed by a funeral service at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 78 Wellington Street, Eganville at 11:00am. A private internment will take place at a later date. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation.
