LEWONAS, Pamela “Pam” – Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Friday, March 11, 2022, Pamela Jean Lewonas (nee Macfarlane) of Woodstock. Beloved wife of Charles Lewonas of Woodstock for 52 years. Loving mother of Quentin Lewonas (Sarah) of Waterdown and Romney Hammerton (James) of Sweaburg. She was the proud grandmother of Avery and Austin Lewonas and Lauryn and Luke Hammerton. Survived by her sister-in-law Penelope Ann Macfarlane, as well as her nieces Rebecca and Ruth, nephew Luke, and close family friend Glen Brownlee of Muskoka. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Jean (nee Moir) Macfarlane and her brother Dr. Thomas Macfarlane.
“Mrs. L” was a devoted teacher in the community for 43 years and will be fondly remembered by faculty and past students from Huron Park Secondary School and Woodstock Collegiate Institute.
Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place at a later date. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
If desired, memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
