Passed peacefully away at the Caribou Memorial Veteran’s Pavilion on Saturday, November 13th, 2021, Otto John Byrne, age 76. Predeceased by his parents Otto and Kathleen (Mullins), his sister, Maureen; his brothers, Peter and William “Billy”.
Leaving to mourn his wife Sharron(O’Keefe); his children, Ed(Glenda), Kathy Coffin(Craig), and Ken(Rick Bishop); his five beautiful grandchildren, Matthew and Anna Byrne; Sarah, Michael, and Steven Coffin; his sister, Joan Robillard; his in-laws, Bernadette Byrne, Laura Cardwell, Elizabeth Grant, Pat O’Keefe, and Bertha Aymond; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Special thanks to the staff of the Caribou Memorial Veteran’s Pavilion and the Kidney Dialysis Unit at St. Clare’s for their kind and compassionate care.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation for Otto and Sharron will take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Tuesday, March 8th 2022, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022 at 10:00am from St. Patrick’s Church. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Donations in Otto’s memory may be made to the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, St. Bonaventure’s College, or KidSport NL, three organizations dear to his heart.
Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on ___________ ,2022 Sharron Marie Byrne (nee O’Keefe), age 74. Predeceased by her husband, Otto (November 2021), her parents Susanna (McCarthy) and Edward O’Keefe, her brothers, Harold and Edward, and her sisters, Mary “Micki” Christy and Sr. Elizabeth O’Keefe (RSM).
Leaving to mourn her children, Ed (Glenda), Kathy Coffin (Craig), and Ken (Rick Bishop); her five beautiful grandchildren, Matthew and Anna Byrne; Sarah, Michael, and Steven Coffin; her sisters, Laura Cardwell and Bertha Aymond, her brother Patrick O’Keefe; her in-laws, Elizabeth Grant, Joan Robillard, and Bernadette Byrne; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
