Opal Baker Howard – age 89 of Knoxville passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022. Member of Safe Harbor Baptist Church. Opal enjoyed Bingo, shopping, and traveling. Preceded in death by husband, Leon Howard; parents, Gilbert and Mahalia Baker; and brothers, Earl Baker, Roy “Boy” Baker, and Virgil Baker. There will be a Call-of-Convenience 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Bridges Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 1:45 PM Friday, February 11, 2022, at Riverside Cemetery in Hazard, KY for a 2:00 PM graveside service with Rev. Joe Bullard officiating.
