BRUNK: Oliver Clare, 83, of Tavistock passed away in Stratford General Hospital, Peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Oliver was born on June 22, 1939 a son of the late Harvey and Mabel (Kipfer) Brunk.
Oliver owned and operated Brunk’s TV & Appliances in Tavistock from October 11, 1960 until the time of his failing health earlier this year. Over the years, with the support from his family he successfully grew his business. He was always ready to help someone called. He provided service to multiple generations of many families.
Oliver is the beloved husband of Grace Elaine (Bender) Brunk whom he married 63 years ago, on August 8, 1959, at Wellesley; the caring father to James Brunk (Kim), Robert Brunk and Darlene Brunk; grandfather to Crystal Brunk (Gerry) and Allan Brunk; Brother of Marlene.
Predeceased by his brothers, Howard Brunk and Kenneth Brunk.
Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock St. N. Tavistock on Tuesday from 4-8p.m. and on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted at 2:00p.m. Pastor Jim Brown of Tavistock Mennonite Church will officiate. Interment in East Zorra Mennonite Cemetery, 16th Line.
