With profound sadness the family announces the death of Odessa Marcotte of New Liskeard, at the age of 44 years. Odessa passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Friday April 8, 2022 with her loving family by her side.
She was born on May 5, 1977 in Fort McMurray, AB to John Purdy and Kathryn Marcotte. Odessa is survived by her cherished children Mia Marcotte and Emmett Marcotte-Addison; her mother and father Kathryn Marcotte and John Sanderson; her siblings Erik Sanderson, Jory Sanderson, Darby Sanderson as well as her extended family members and friends.
The family of the late Odessa Marcotte will receive family and friends at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home on Saturday April 16, 2022 beginning at 12:00pm. The memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm. The family invite you to join them later that afternoon at the Haileybury Legion from 4:00pm until 8:00pm for a time of fellowship to share your stories and memories of Odessa. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Odessa’s memory can be made to a Trust Fund in care of Odessa’s children (details to follow).
