Normand Allain
1945-2022
Normand “Norm” Allain,
76, of Moncton, passed away at Hospice SENB – Albert House,
a facility he truly believed in and supported for many years, on
Monday, February 7, 2022. Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late
Henri and Laura (Cormier) Allain.
A salesman for the former Commercial
Equipment, Norm was very active in the Humphrey Lewisville Sunny Brae
Lions Club for over 30 years, where he won many awards, most proudly
the Melvin Jones award, and held several positions, including active
president when the club donated the land for the hospice to be built.
He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, especially “Crib”
and “200”, and was a member of The Maplewood Golf
Club. Norm loved music, and played guitar and mandolin.
Survived and sadly missed by his beloved
wife of 50 years, Jeanne (Colpitts); children, Daniel
“Dan” Allain (Nicole) of Ottawa, Timothy
“Tim” Allain of Moncton; grandchildren, Melissa and
Brandon Allain both of Ottawa; brothers, Yvon (The late Elizabeth
“Betty”), Harvey (Erma), Eloi (The late Hilda),
Oscar (Annette), Ronald (The late Hubert) all of NB, and Leonard of
MA, USA; sister-in-law, Dawn Kolter (Edmund); brother-in-law, Fletcher
Colpitts (Mary); as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Norm was
predeceased by his brother Leandre (Lorette).
Visitation will be held at The Salisbury
Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106, Salisbury West (506-372-4800) on
Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 6 – 8 pm. Due to Covid-19,
ID, proof of vaccination, and masks, are required to attend. Interment
will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac, at a later
date.

your choice would be appreciated.
