Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Norman Edmund Murphy announce his passing on June 24th, 2022 at the age of 88 years.
He will be missed dearly by his wife of 62 years Millicent Murphy. Twin brother Thomas Murphy. Children Linda (Terry), Ralph (Cheryl), Trevor (Mary-ann). Grandchildren Michael, Shannon, Haley, Ryan. Great Granddaughters Taygan and Madilynn along with numerous other family and Friends.
Norman was born on Nov 14, 1933 in Sheeptown Ireland. In 1959 he immigrated to Canada and began his 34 year long career with the TTC. He also had a love of building/flying RC airplanes for years and shared his passion with many great friends.
Visitation will be held at St Andrew Anglican Church, 125 Wellington Street West, Alliston on Monday July 4th from 12 noon until the time of service at 1pm.
Refreshments to follow at W. John Thomas Funeral Home, 244 Victoria St East, Alliston.
Memorial donations may be made in the name of Norman Murphy to the Bethell Hospice Foundation.
