Norman Gravelle passed away peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital on December 24, 2022 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by his parents Romeo and Yvonne Gravelle and his brother Rene (Nancy McMillan).
Norm is survived by his siblings Edgar (Lucie- deceased), Raymond (Linda), Denis, Louise Marion (Phil), Jean-Paul, Jacques (Dawna Kirk), Jean-Guy (Christine Antonio) and Michel (Phil Blaisdale). He will be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends. In his heyday, Norm rarely declined an invite to social gatherings and fostered friendships that lasted decades. Although he grew up in the great outdoors of North Bay, he preferred the action of the Big City. He will be missed by his friends in Toronto, where he worked as a machinist for many years. Norm was musically talented and loved to laugh as much as he loved to eat. He had a big heart and enjoyed his time with his nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Natalie Mulvany of Independence North Bay; she went above and beyond providing cleaning services, meals and his weekly Iced Capp he loved so much.
Cremation being handled by Basic Cremation Services. As per Normans’ wishes there will be no services held. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society is greatly appreciated.
