Obituary of Norma E. Haughn
HAUGHN NORMA E. – At the Charlotte County Hospital on Tuesday, July 19th, 2022; Norma Ellen (Hooper) Haughn; wife of Ronald Calvert Haughn of Chamcook, NB. Born in St. Stephen, NB; she is the daughter of the late Ralph & Ellen (Lee)Hooper.
Norma worked for many years in senior care with Olson’s Health Care as well as Kindred Home Care. Before she and Ron married she worked with the Star Kist Tuna Plant in Bayside. She was a member of the ladies missionairies and a member of By The Sea Pentecostal Church in St. Andrews for many years.
Surviving in addition to her husband Ronald are her children Kelly (Mike Smith) of Saint John, NB, Scott (Joann) of Chamcook, NB, a special person in Norma’s life Natalie (Hooper) Sode, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Norma was predeceased by brothers Paul and Leonard, sister Jeanne Smith, sister in law Edna and nephews Bradley & Robert.
By Norma’s request cremation will take place. Friends are welcomed to attend a memorial graveside service to be held on Thursday, July 28th, 2022 at 6:30 pm at St. John the Baptist Chapel of Ease Cemetery in Chamcook, NB. As there will be no reception following the service, friends only time to greet the family will be at the conclusion of the service.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family. On line condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
