WELK, NORBERT
On Monday January 17, 2022 Norbert Welk, Marvelville farmer, at the age of 83. Loving husband of the late Beverly (Thompson). Cherished father of Wendy (Raymond Miron), Robbin (Kim) and the late Heidi (Tom Ripley). Proud Opa to Nick (Tanya) and Holly Miron, Liam and Caitlan Ripley, Lindsay, Emily (Justin Fischer), Allison and Chelsey (Seamus Smit). Great Grandfather to Byron and Blake Miron. Brother of Hans of Kelowna B.C. Helga of Essen, Germany, Gerda of Berlin and the late Harry of Germany and Christel Immetsburger of Ottawa. The family would like to thank Carole and the staff of le Pavillon in Embrun for their care. Norm was an avid bridge player. Playing in the Gloucester, Metcalfe, Russell and Embrun bridge clubs. He enjoyed gardening and being a handyman for the Community Club. As per Norbert’s wishes funeral services will be held privately. If desired, donations made to the Marvelville Community Club, 1776 Leclerc Road Russell, ON K4R 1E5 would be appreciated.
