Nora Jean Cirotto June 16th 2022

It is with deep sadness and profound love, that the family of Nora Jean Cirotto (Haywood) announce her peaceful passing Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the age of 89, in Trail, BC surrounded by her loved ones.
Nora was born in Trail and loved living in the Kootenays. She met her husband-to-be Val when she was just 6 years old and they were married in 1953 when Nora was 21. They soon welcomed two lovely children into the world. Nora was involved in local sports clubs, coaching Jr. girls softball and acting as secretary of the boxing club. Nora was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved hunting, fishing, her garden, and her dogs Nina and Cheeky. Nora passed only a few days shy of her 90th birthday.
Nora is finally reunited with her husband Val who passed away in August of 2020. Nora missed him every day. They are now together forever in peace.
Nora is survived by her daughter Doreen Mckinnon (Don), son Gary Cirotto (Barbara), grandchildren Valdon (Jerome), Kris (Sarah), Mia (Ruedi), Nori (Aron), great-grandson Everett, sister-in-law Brenda, and many nieces and nephews. Nora was predeceased by her mother Gladys, father Joseph, siblings Doreen, Richard and Joe, and husband Val.
The family would like to thank her doctors and pharmacy technicians, the paramedics and firefighters who attended when she needed it, and the staff at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. Your kindness meant a great deal to Nora and to all of us.
At the request of Nora, no service will be held. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Nora Jean Cirotto June 16th 2022..
