It is with great sadness the family of Robert (Bob) Nathan Nixon announces his passing on April 09, 2022 at the age of 83. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joyce; children Robert Nixon and Loreena Boisjoli (Marc); grandchildren Sara Nixon, Nathan Nixon, Taylor Boisjoli, and Clair Jordan(Tyson).
Bob was predeceased by his parents Norman and Dorothy Nixon, and younger brother Neil Nixon.
Bob was born in Bassano and lived in Brooks. He served 22 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force including 2 years with the Snowbirds aerobatic team. Upon retirement from the military Bob got a position with DOW Chemical in Fort Saskatchewan and worked there for 17 ½ years. He helped deliver Meals on Wheels for the Legion and was an active Citizen on Patrol with the RCMP. He also enjoyed ham radio activities.
Bob will always be deeply loved and cherished by his family.
