Nikolay “Nick” Smikalow
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the age of 71 years. Loving husband of Phillis Smikalow (nee Percival). Dear father of Jennifer Smikalow and Ivan Smikalow (Michelle). Loving grandfather of Kathryna. Dear brother of Olga McLaren (Mel). Nick will be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the Percival, Bale and Saudino families. Predeceased by his sister Ann Dobson. Remembrance donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins.
