Obituary of Nicholas Walter Harold Longley
LONGLEY, Nicholas – It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of Nick Longley announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at the age of 64. Loving father of Nick Jr. (Brianne), and Michael (Jessica). Beloved brother of Bev (John), and Jane (Jack). Cherished granddad of Konner, Karter and Trooper. Loving uncle to Emily, Brent and Dawson. He will be so very missed by his many friends who were like family to him. Predeceased by his wife Ann, his parents Gordon and Doreen and brother Gary. Nick worked for many years out west, with the Carpenter’s Union, loved being on the water in his boat with family and friends, he loved music, especially live music and enjoyed going to car shows. There were so many wonderful things about Nicky and he will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Cremation has taken place. Family and Friends will be received at a Celebration on Life at Stevie D’s in Point Edward on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Alzheimer Society, 420 East St., N., Sarnia N7T 6Y5.
Arrangements entrusted to McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (519-344-3131). Memories and pictures may be sent to Jane Longley’s Facebook page.
