SHOSTAK, Nicholas Denis
It is with profound sadness that the family of Nick Shostak announce his peaceful passing on April 16, 2022 in Westlock, AB.
He will be remembered by his daughter Nicole (Todd) Wilson and his son, Shaun (Samantha) Shostak; grandchildren Zack, Zara, Alexis, Vayda; sisters Mary (Bob) Smith, Carol (Bob) Walton and Kathy Shostak, brothers Willie Shostak, David Shostak, and Eugene (Collette) Shostak, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Anne Shostak and his brother Andy Shostak.
A Divine Liturgy will be held for Nick at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Thorhild, AB with the interment to follow at Tudor Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nick’s name to The Canadian Lung Association 502-885 Meadowlands Drive Ottawa, Ontario, K2C 3N2 or to the Cross Cancer Institute 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta
