MACINTYRE, Nicholas Gordon
February 5th, 1960 – April 17th, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of Nicholas MacIntyre announce his sudden passing at Health Sciences North on Sunday April 17th, 2022, at the age of 62.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Kaitlyn (Kyle Murray); his soon to be born grandson Coltyn Nicholas Murray (expected in July 2022); brother of Douglas MacIntyre (Deborah MacIntyre – predeceased) and Greg MacIntyre; his former wife and continued friendship of Helene MacIntyre (nee Bomhower); his nephews Matthew, Alexander and Jacob Riser, along with other family and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Simone (nee Michaud) MacIntyre and his sister Sharon Riser (Jimmy Riser).
Nic was known for his great career as an outstanding transport driver, which was also his passion of 40+ years. He had a love for fishing, the outdoors and enjoyed the game of hockey (being a goaltender in his childhood), as well as attending many Sudbury Wolves games. His greatest joy was spending time with his daughter and enjoyed cooking the best family meals. He was most grateful for the support from his brother Doug, especially in the last 7 years of his life. He will forever remain in the memory of family and friends and part of him will live on through his soon-to-be grandson Coltyn.
At his request, there will be no ceremony or funeral service. A private gathering will take place at the time of burial. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Services.
