It is with great sadness that the family announce that Nicholas Joseph Jesso, aged 78 years, a loving and devoted husband, father, and brother passed peacefully away at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL on Friday, September 23rd, 2022 after fighting a long battle of cancer.
Nicholas will be sadly missed by: his loving wife of 56 years Violet; his sons: Sean and Nelson (Maryann); daughter Allison (Steve); grandchildren: Matthew, Ashley, Megan (Kyle), and Aiden; great grandchildren: Alexander, Lucas, and Kinsley; sisters: Remona, Pauline, Lilian, Delores, Gertrude (Mike), Edna, and Marion (Ronnie); and brother Alphonsus (Ruby); as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his son Henry and other family members.
Nicholas was a kind-hearted person who would give the shirt off his back for anyone that knew him. His generosity was well known to anyone that needed a helping hand; he would drop anything he was doing to help anyone in need. Nicholas loved being around his grandchildren and great grandchildren who always put a smile on his face.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and will always be remembered in their hearts.
