Obituary of Ngan Van Pham
It is with heartfelt sorrow, the family of Ngan Van Pham, of Damascus, husband of Thom Le, announce his passing on Monday, December 19, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Saigon, Vietnam on January 4, 1948, he was a son of the late Hoang Van Pham and Muon Nguyen. Ngan was employed at the NB Museum for 15 years working in maintenance before he and Thom purchased and ran Lat Vi’s Tailor Shop for 22 years before both retired in 2015. Ngan enjoyed reading, playing volleyball, and collecting watches. He was especially proud of his wife, sons, grandson and granddaughter. Ngan will be missed by all who knew him.
Besides his wife, Ngan is survived by his sons; Tri (Hien) of Calgary, Quang of Saint John, and Anthony (Lindsay) of Calgary, brothers; Pham Van Hoang, Pham Van Hanh, Pham Hong Phuc, sisters; Pham Thi Ngoc Anh, Pham Thi Kim Dung, Pham Thi Xuan Mai, beloved grandchildren; Ryan Pham, and Olivia Pham, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. In keeping with Ngan’s request there will be no funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
