It is with great sadness that the family of Neta Bissonnette announce her passing on August 29, 2022 with her children by her side. She is predeceased by her husband Marcel (2014), her parents Myron and Nita Stokoe (DeWare) and her 4 siblings.
Neta is survived by her children Marc Bissonnette (Diana) and Donna Bilodeau (Peter) of Tecumseh and Paul Bissonnette (Sharon) of Georgetown.
She was Nana to 7 grandchildren who she adored: Lindsay Qutub (Omar), Penny Bilodeau, Ryan Bilodeau (Tracy), Lauren Thibert (Chris), Matthew Bissonnette (Ilona), Beth Bissonnette and Emma Bissonnette and also known as Nana GG to 5 great-grandchildren who were a constant source of joy: Cohen, Ella, Emersyn, Jackson, Evan and a 6th on the way.
Neta lived a full life with her family and all have many great memories to cherish. She hailed from New Brunswick, travelled extensively with Marcel during his years with the military and eventually settled in Windsor. She was employed by the Federal Government for 20 years primarily in Montreal where she retired in 1993.
Memorial Visitation at Families First (East Windsor) 1065 Lauzon Rd., 519-969-5841 on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 6-9pm. A celebration of life will take place on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11am at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Windsor Es County Humane Society. Online condolences may be shared with the family at familiesfirst.ca
