Nelson Blair Price 2022

Nelson B. Price, 78, of Moncton,
NB, and former long-time resident of Satinwood Dr., passed away
peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday October 20,
2022. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late George and
Pearl (Barnes) Price.
Nelson was retired from Marine
Atlantic as Director of Human Resources with over 35 years
service. He was a long-time member of St. John’s
United Church, having served his church in various capacities over the
years as a former Chair of the Board of Trustees, former Chair of
M&P Committee, Former Chair of the Unified Board and former
Chair for two terms at Drew Nursing Home in Sackville. He
enjoyed playing golf and watching curling and spending time with his
family especially his grandchildren.
Nelson will be sadly missed by
his loving wife of over 56 years, Marlene (Broad) Price of Moncton;
his son, Graham (Colleen) of Montreal, QC and his daughter, Natalie
Lau (Ed) of Toronto, ON; cherished grandchildren, Griffin, Vanessa,
Andrew and Aidan.
Nelson’s family will
receive relatives and friends at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain
Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 10 am till
11 am followed by Nelson’s Celebration of Life Service at
11:00 am with The Rev. Aaron Billard leading the service.
Reception to follow in the Funeral Home Reception Centre.
Interment to be held in Elmwood Cemetery,
Moncton.
Donations in Nelson’s
memory can be directed to St. John’s United Church, The
Friend’s of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or Alzheimer
