August 3, 1934 – October 31, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Neil William Renouf announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing, NL on October 31, 2022 at the age of 88 years.
Neil was a quiet and gentle man. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and also loved to spend time in his cabin, fishing, hunting, logging and driving truck. He was a very hard-working man.
Left to mourn with wonderful and loving memories are: his son Scott and daughter-in-law Leona; grandchildren: William and Charles; his sister Esabelle (George); brothers: Andrew (Renate), Peter as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He is predeceased by his his loving wife Dulcie, they were married on March 17, 1961 for 61 years and had a wonderful life together in Robinson’s until Dulcie died in 2002, parents: James Renouf and Annie M. Sheppard Renouf; sisters: Mary (Bill), Ida (Ronald), Margaret, Marie, Sarah (Richard); brothers: Johnny (Theresa), Sandy (Ada)
The family would like to extend a big thank you to the staff at Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre for the years of care they have given him.
Following Neil’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No flowers by request of family. Friends and Family are welcome to the visitation on Thursday, November 4, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing. Burial on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022 @ 10:00 a.m. at the United Cemetery in Heatherton.
