Neil Winden Young March 10 1943 September 9 2022

Obituary
Neil Young was a caring husband and father who sadly passed on Sep 9, 2022 at age 79.
He was born to Stanley and Rose Young in the little village of Burham, Kent during 1943. For most of his life he was a trained Dental Technician, specializing in crowns and bridges. After work for a laboratory he setup his own business called “Crown Design”. After several years he closed his business and went to work for James Dyson just as he started his business, making vacuum cleaners in the UK during the company’s early years.
Neil and his wife, Sylvia immigrated to Canada in 2003, where they lived with their youngest daughter Gemma.
For several years he worked semi-retired for the YMCA on Rebecca Street and was an active member of St. Luke’s Palermo in Oakville until Alzheimer’s disease took over. As the condition progressed he was taken into care at Northridge Long Term Care Home approximately eight years before passing away at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
Neil leaves behind his wife Sylvia, brother Keith (and nieces Samantha, Amanda, and Kate), daughters Susan and Gemma, and his son Trevor.
He had a wonderful sense of humor, loved animals, and was willing to help anyone. He will be sadly missed.
