Our beautiful son, Neil, passed away on Easter Sunday April 17 2022 at age 39.
Anyone who knew Neil loved him. Neil was compassionate, generous, funny, genuine, mischievous, smart and welcomed everybody. He was a fantastic innovative cook specializing in stir-fries and barbecues. He enjoyed deep, intellectual conservations on all kinds of topics. Neil was sensitive, creative and incredibly strong.
Neil loved all kinds of sports, both watching and participating. Skiing, hiking, camping, running, swimming, biking, football, hockey – you name it he would do it.
Neil’s stunning photography and videos, often set to music, captured your soul. Neil loved the great outdoors and that is where he tragically passed away.
Neil was blessed to have many great friends who cared deeply about him. In return, Neil loved them wholeheartedly.
Neil is survived by his loving parents, Garry and Evelyn and an extended family that adored him.
Neil was our past, present and future and will always be.
Our grief is beyond measure.

Viewing and a reception will be held at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home Downtown Location at 10011 114 St. Edmonton, Alberta on Wednesday April 27, 2022.
The visitation will be held from 7 to 8 pm in the Lady Slipper Visitation Salon followed by
a Celebration of Neil’s Life from 8 to 9:30 pm.
